Nokia and Fuel created DVLUP; a site for mobile developers. Developers had the chance to earn points from various development challenges for the Windows Phone. When completed, points could be exchanged for physical rewards such as Xbox consoles, Nokia Windows phones, clothing items and more. In addition, users could earn badges to add a little friendly competition and create a sense of pride and accomplishment. The campaign was widely successful with users earning 350,000 badges, 22,000 challenges completed and the awarding of $5,000,000 of prizes within its first 9 months.
